SmugMug has put their money where my blog posts are. They have given me something to give away – a one year pro membership. Yes, you read that right a one year pro-level membership. You get all of the great SmugMug services I have already talked about. More information about pro-level services is available here as well. So, you are asking yourself, how do I get in on this great opportunity? The process is fairly simple, and you can enter up to three times. Here are your options:
- Leave a comment on one of my blog posts. Hopefully something more insightful than, “I want to win.” It doesn’t have to be this post it can be any post on my blog.

I want to share the joy and I think that having the option to share photos and video easily is a good thing during holiday times. - When is the drawing?
Free Loot Day 2011. For most people that would be December 25, 2011, sometime after 12Noon EST, so enter before then. - When I win can I give my account to charity?
Sure you can! - How are you going to pick a winner?
I am going to put all the entries (up to three per person) into a spreadsheet, number the entries from one to many, run the random command and select the corresponding entry. - What happens if I am not from the US?
Yes, you can still win! - Can I have the cash instead?
No, there is no option for cash payout. - What can I do to pay it forward?
If you want to pay it forward you can donate to one of my favorite charities, donate to your favorite charity, donate blood, take part in Help Portraits, volunteer … etc. - Are there more formal rules?
Not really. If you live in my house you can’t win, if you work for SmugMug you can’t win. Pretty much just commonsense. You pay any taxes or fees. - Can I enter via Facebook?
Really, did you just ask that? Oh wait you didn’t because this list is UAQ. But the answer is NO. - What happens if I don’t win?
