I wanted to experiment with getting the details and not blow out the white against the black counter with the point & shoot. I also just liked the shape of the soap. (It was not that massaging as it looked, the fingers dissolved quickly.) I was happy with the way I was able to focus and make the settings so that the details of the soap were still available.
