The classic image grabbed from the parking lot at John Wayne Airport (SNA). I was not planning on these shots, after dropping a coworker off at the airport I decided I did not want to sit in rush hour traffic. I found a place to park. After the first plane went over I realized I had a good place to take the shots. I did this with my P&S as that was what I had. I think the next trip out there I will try to make time and get closer to the edge of the runway and avoid the lights in the picture. As I am often reminded, look around to see what you see. Also look to see what you don’t see. You never know when you will find a subject.
