I am still learning some of the things that I can do with the seamless poster paper and a flash. Once again you can see past the side of the paper to the paneling which to some degree helps to define the edges of the glass. I am trying to figure how to get better [more]

I wanted to start experimenting to indirect flash bounces and seamless backgrounds. So that I would not eat my props, I picked up 300 marbles instead of jelly beans. There are three colors of Jelly beans here in the platter. They are various shades of Red, Dark Red, and Brown. The colors are hard to distinguish in person, and the colors are correct in this image with how close they are. I know that the platter is clipped, but it is a silver colored platter [more]
I liked the shape and textures of the nuts in the jar. I thought about denoising the image but I like the texture it added overall so I left it in. I captured this image under the Chicago O’Hare jetway while walking from Terminal C to F. It was amazing how empty the airport was at that time of night.
