Back in 2008 I had the issue with Comcast DVR. It showed that it was recording, but I would have a blank screen when I tried to play. I wrote an email to the NHL about the copy protection. No response. I called Comcast. No clue. I emailed a beat writer from the NJ Devils. He at least told me he saw an NHL executive at a game and discussed it with him. He had no idea but would look into it. A year and a half later still waiting for an answer. In the meantime, no CenterIce sub. I will not give them money based on the claim that I can “see” hundreds of games during the season. Really? How?

Hi all,
I have a client who’s having similar issues in South Florida. Has anybody had any luck getting the Center Ice channels on a Tivo with CableCards?

I’m going to be at his home tomorrow, I can’t imagine getting a useful answer from a Comcast tech regarding something as complex as copy protection errors, but I’m sure gonna try!
