The juxtaposition of the brass against the brown door frame caught my eye, so I attempted to capture it. I was going for the color accuracy as the lighting was very difficult with all the compact flourescent bulbs in the room. I did some bounce flash to avoid getting a glare off the metal itself. After a while all the hotels start to look the same. So this is just a typical phone, lamp, remote shot. I am pleased that I took this at night but the image is much like daylight and the temperature is good. I decided to bounce off the yellowish wall instead of the white ceiling. [more]
