Still updating Mac after Snow Leopard

So as my faithful reader will remember on  Sunday, September 6th, 2009 I started the process of updating to Snow Leopard. There are some things I still am not done with yet; so much for everything be easier on a Mac. Somethings are actually easier on Windows XP. Really. Let me explain a little. I [more]

Some times numbers don't do something justice

So I use SmugMug to host my photos as they have some really cool features and people there. I also started following a few of them on Twitter, and there was a tweet that just made my head hurt, so I sat down to do the math on it. Okay, I also used Wolfram Alpha [more]

At times I have trouble keeping track of what is where in terms of data. A couple of friends recommended Dropbox to me, so I finally checked it out and am amazed at how fast and powerful it is so far. By using the links to Dropbox with a referral code (the ones on this [more]

So I was thinking this evening while ironing in a hotel room… why do I “Protect my Tweets” on Twitter, requiring one to ask for permission to follow me. However I do not require that same level of identification on this blog. Is it the content is different? I am not sure that is the [more]

Not sure Mars Edit is quite it yet

So I tried writing offline using MarsEdit in the previous post, I just now got around to posting and reviewing it. Here is why, it does not seem to actually do any better of a job than writing in the text editor in terms of formatting and spacing. It seems to still have the same [more]

Too plugged in?

So I was chatting with friends over the past few days about just how much communication there is going on. One person asked me if I was on Twitter or Facebook. I said no. The other was saying how we had communicated more over the past few days since he found out that I had [more]

So I have got the content I wanted moved over to the Blog. I learned a few things in doing it for next time, hopefully there won’t be a next time. Capturing the Blog to a PDF does not mean that the links are contained.  In Windows it often is Formatting takes much more time [more]

So tonight I started to look through my Blog to think about updating it again. Well I was a little puzzled when I found out that the “wp-content/themes/classic/header.php” page had been tweaked a little. Okay hacked by adding 180K of A HREFs. I was not very happy as it seems to be that I need [more]
